Know. Grow. Heal.
For our second annual Queen’s Meeting, we centered the theme KNOW. GROW. HEAL. and created a space for restoration, reflection, and celebration.

Our co-hosts, Dr. Ayanna Balogun-Ibrahim and Rakayla Simpson, carried the room with warmth, humor, and heart—setting the tone for a day full of real connection and community.

Sheba Jennings delivered a powerful poetry performance that left the room still, reflective, and energized. We also uplifted the next generation with original poems by Rising Queen Lauren, who reminded us that brilliance has no age limit.

Our keynote speaker, Reverend Juju, gave us a word many of us still carry: “Sit down and let God do it.” Her message of surrender, rest, and the divine strength of Black women landed deeply. She reminded us that being strong doesn’t mean doing it all—and that healing is holy work.

The love in the room was undeniable, and the energy was one of grace, honesty, and presence. It felt like exactly what it needed to be.

This year, we were proud to honor three phenomenal women as our Queens of the Community—each one deeply rooted in service, advocacy, and the kind of leadership that uplifts everyone around them:

👑 Vonya Quarles
👑 Vicki Lobos
👑 Joette Spencer Campbell

Their work continues to ripple through the Inland Empire and beyond. We were honored to give them their flowers, and they received them with grace, humility, and strength.
